Even if the person you’re seeing doesn’t enjoy playing video games as much as you do, you can still find games that you will enjoy playing together. You may even help your partner discover a new favorite hobby! Here are some games that are really fun to play with your partner, regardless of skill level.
Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a fun game for people of all ages to play, and it’s a great entry-level shooter for those who aren’t familiar with the third-person shooter genre (or video games, period). You and your partner are guaranteed to have fun destroying each other’s gardens.
Super Mario 3D World
Super Mario 3D World is the latest 3D Mario game, and it’s loads of fun to play with others. Up to four people can join in on the fun, so why not have a double date at your place? Whether your partner is a gamer or not, he or she is sure to have heard of the iconic plumber named Mario. If he or she has never played a Mario game, this will be the perfect way to introduce him or her to the series.
Telltale’s The Walking Dead and/or The Wolf Among Us
A gamer of any skill level can get through either of these games just fine, and the stories in both games are magnificent. Both games are single player only, but what’s so fun about watching someone else play these games is the fact that they both revolve around making choices. You may end up learning how compatible you are your partner are by seeing if you make a lot of the same decisions. You may find that your partner makes a lot of the same decisions as you. Or, you may end up yelling, “How could you do that?!”
Any Mario Kart game you play is sure to be a blast. The newest entry in the series, Mario Kart 8, is loads of fun, but any Mario Kart game will do! Mario Kart games are fun to play by yourself, but they’re even better when you play with someone else. This is also a fun double date idea.
